Solid gold is 100% real gold all the way through. Filled is 5% or more gold covering another metal such as nickel or silver and plated is one layer over a metal. To last a lifetime, I suggest you get real gold.
We are happy to fix outside pieces. This is at a 25$ cost. Please do not book an appointment just message us. Unless you want another chain as well—a good excuse to add to the stack!
Easy! If you need or want to remove your bracelet or anklet, they can easily be cut at home with a pair of scissors.
These jewelry pieces are meant to stay on for life, these chains are real gold and silver, and we want them to last because that is what precious metals are made to do. I do suggest buying gold, as it is more resilient than silver, which will tarnish. If you do choose silver, it is easily cleaned with lemon and baking soda on a regular basis, and this will bring back the shine.
We currently only offer 14K yellow gold, 14K white gold, and silver.925 chains. Chain selections are subject to market availability, but we generally have about 10-15 different types of chain to choose from (don't worry, you will find something you love!) Each solid gold chain is priced by the inch, and current chain prices range between $16 and $25 per inch for gold and $65 per bracelet for silver and gold filled bracelets (average wrist size is about 6.5" to 7", average ankle size is 7.5" to 10", and necklaces typically range from 18’ to 20”).
We will weld a custom fit bracelet to your wrist, neck, or ankle using a minute flash welder that barely sparks and will not burn anyone. It is an easy, painless process that takes just a few seconds after the piece of jewelry is designed and fitted by you and your jewelry specialist. Because the bracelet is welded on, it does not have a clasp and therefore will "permanently" stay on for life with good care (unless you decide to remove it).
Don't worry; though hardy, gold does have its limits. If your piece breaks or stretches, just keep the chain and contact us at [email protected] to schedule a repair. We will do this for free for the first 30 days and charge $25 after that. There's no need to schedule a separate appointment unless you'd like to add another chain at the same time.
If we are at an event that is not full, we will take walk-ins at those times, but it is first come, first served. If appointments are full, we will not accept walk-ins for that event, but call and ask if you are not sure. Currently, we are only able to offer appointments on a month-by-month basis on specific days. If you don't see any appointments on the calendar, it means that all available appointments are booked.
Yes! The TSA does not ask you to remove fine jewelry when going through security.
Most surgical cases allow these, but if they want you to remove them, just clip a link, and we will repair it for you for $25. Not a problem at all! BUT did you know that real gold and silver is not magnetic!!!
We are happy to apply chains to kids 12 and over, with parental consent. If they get bigger, we can add to the bracelet or necklace with a new appointment. Again, this will cost per inch and include the 25$ deposit.
